Hundreds of thousands of costumes donated by the rich and generous
Myanmar’s wealthy donors attend a state-level award ceremony held at the Upathanti Pagoda in Nay Pyi Taw.
The ceremony was a religious donation ceremony given by the Government of Myanmar, and the President and his wife presented the titles of Thiha Thudhamma Mani Zawdara and Thiri Thudhamma Theingi to those who generously donated in the religious and social fields.
The value of the donor costumes that came to the event was astonishingly high. This is because the costumes cost tens of thousands of kyats.
Two costumes designed by a young designer for a male donor are making headlines on social media. Because one is around 40,000 lakh kyats. One is about 36,000 lakh kyats.
The costumes may seem ordinary, but hundreds of thousands of Burmese garments have been made with the addition of gold and sapphires on hundreds of Burmese chains, as well as a combination of rubies and real gold.
The designer, Shuthara, posted on his Facebook page that the post was popular with online users. The Irrawaddy was contacted by The Irrawaddy, but did not respond to requests for comment as she was on a trip abroad. The costumes were worn by Chan Myae Swe, a graduate of Thiha Thudhamma Mani Zaw Tadara.
Recall the value of the Burmese costumes worn by Chan Myae Swe. The combination of gold and sapphires on the second day of the robe, which was worn on the second day, was worth 40,000 lakhs, and the rubies and jewels worn on the day were worth 36,000 lakhs.
Chan Myae Swe was awarded the title for donating tens of thousands of kyats to religious causes.
Ma Poe Ei Phyu Maung, who holds the degree of Thiri Thudhamma Theingi, is envied by Burmese women. She is young and handsome and is envied by women for her generosity. The exact value of the costume is not known, but the quality of the rubies is not low, so it is included in the expensive costume.

Designer Yin Thu Swe also attended the event and designed the costumes of several other graduate donors.
Ma Myint Myint Khin, the owner of Mandalay’s famous “Myint Myint Khin” bakery, was also awarded a degree, much to the surprise of her young and beautiful appearance. Before going upstairs, she wore a simple dress covered with a gold woven scarf.
Actress Nanda Hlaing was awarded the title of Thiri Thudhamma Theingi at the event, and her simple beauty of a traditional Mon costume design was praised by online users. Like Nanda Hlaing, former actors Yamin Ko Ko and singer Kyar Nyo Thwe from other artists were also awarded degrees.
Although expensive costumes are worn at international fashions, the costumes of the Burmese millionaires, which are much larger than the value of these costumes, have recently become popular on social media.
