Tenasserim Chief Justice Daw Pike Pike Aye and the newly appointed Chief Justice of Tanintharyi have signed a joint venture agreement with the judiciary, according to the Tanintharyi Regional Court.
On May 20, eight days after being sworn in as Chief Justice of the Tanintharyi Divisional Hluttaw, the Chief Justice and the judges signed the pledge.
There are only two state and divisional courts in Burma that have a female chief justice, and they are appointed by President U Win Myint himself.
