Bago Division Police in Pyay Township arrested two young men on suspicion of driving a motorcycle with a machete and a machete near Zee Op village in Pyay Township yesterday afternoon, according to the Pyay Township Police Chief.

Mya Ywa (Nawaday) Pyay Township’s sugar factory was robbed of two wallets by two motorcyclists on a busy road. He was arrested with more than 10 lakh kyats on the Ngwe Letpan village road and his wallet was found in a bush near the Dabba Pagoda on Mya Ywa (Nawaday) Sugar Mill Road.

“When traveling with valuables and money, care must be taken in less crowded places. It should not be easy. The police and the public can identify it within hours. The police are trying to make an arrest within a few hours if possible.” Than Zaw Win, Pyay Township Police Chief, said in a low voice.

The people who fled with their wallets were from Pyi Myo Ywa Bae area. Two brothers, 24-year-old Aye Min and 21-year-old Myat Htet from Pwint Hla Thein Kone, were arrested by Pyay Township Police Station No. 3 and No. 10 Security Police Sub-District Police.
